Definately the most interesting looking
vacuum I have seen. I had my heart set on a Dyson DC07 but then I found this
Bosch vacuum cleaner and think this is what I will be buying.
This design uses the latest suction
technology so I think it will be about equal to Dyson in that respect. The
Dyson has a belt which can only be replaced by a service center. I expect it
doesn't break much and won't be a problem but this Bosch Bagless Jet has no
belt at all. The brush is gear driven.
I had heard that this vac can be hard to
push. I walked into a local vac store to check it out and the first thing the
salesman said was that I don't want it if I plan to use it for carpet. The
suction is great, the best suction of any vac he said. He also pointed out the
the roller brush has soft bristles. Stiffer bristles are better for picking up
dog hair. The soft brush is very good for hardwood or tile floors. This is a
very nice vac, but not right for my carpeted floors. Time to order a Dyson.
