You will find your
Shark Cordless Vacuum comes slightly charged.
You should have more patience than me and give
the unit a full charge before you run it. Shark
recommends that you charge the vacuum for 16 to
20 hours before the first use. Plug it in when
you unpack it and it should be ready to go the
next day.
Once a month fully
discharge your battery and then give it another
full charge. This will increase battery performance
and maintain peek performance. It may take 2 or
3 full discharges before you reach peak performance.
Fully charged batteries
will run for 35 to 45 minutes before a recharge.
Tomorrow after my
Shark Sweeper is fully charged I will run some
more tests
I have to admit I
was a bit scared to run my new cordless sweeper
over all the cardboard that Munchie tore up. Since
it was heavy cardboard I thought for sure it would
get jammed between the roller and the case. I
picked up a couple of the larger pieces and gave
it a try. To my amazement it picked it all up
with no problem. It also managed to suck up a
pair of sweatpants that were on the floor.. I
got a little too close. No it didn't completely
devour them, but it sucked in enough to choke
and I had to turn the sweeper off and clear it's
throat. Don't get too close to things you don't
want to pick up!
