The larger dirt bin is the feature I have been waiting
for, and the extra power and fast charge time are certainly
a big plus. If you don't need the extra features you may
be able to find a good buy on the original
robot vacuum. However with the Roomba Red selling for about $150.00,
I think you will have trouble finding an orignal for much
less. Another big improvement is the new Roombas now have
a 1 year warranty, instead of just 90 days. Be sure
to check out Hammacher
Schlemmner and their lifetime guarantee.
