Most of the people that
have bought the ScumBuster love it, but there are a few that hate it. They say
it doesn't spin fast enough. I brought mine home, charged it up, turned it on
and thought maybe they were right. Then while I was using it I realized why it
does not spin faster. If it were to spin faster it would be flinging cleaning
fluid all over the place and make a mess. People with tendonitis and arthritis
absolutely love the ScumBuster because they can scrub without becoming sore. I
think Black & Decker has a winner here. It may be out there, but I have not
seen another product like this.

 Another common complaint is that the attachments are
hard to remove. This is true, when you try to twist off the attachment
everything turns. I quickly found that sticking a pair of needlenose pliers
into the triangle will hold it still so attachments can be easily removed. A
small screwdriver would work well also. Really Black & Decker.. you should
have included a tool for this!

There are 3 ScumBuster
models available. The S300, S400 and S500. They all have the same power unit
but the higher the model number the more attachments you receive. The S500 also
comes with a carrying caddy.
The ScumBuster comes
with a rechargeable battery that will last about 30 minutes and the unit is
fully submersible. You can use it on tile, carpet, countertops, grills, outdoor
furniture and even your car.
S500 Accessories

- Spiral Wheel Brush for scrubbing in hard to
reach areas like auto hubcaps.
- Shampoo Brush for carpet cleaning.
- Wide Area Bristle Brush for aggressive area
cleaning on ceramic tile, fiberglass and hard plastic surfaces.
- Disc Attachment Adapter to be used with
scrub and sponge pads.
- White Pad for mild scrubbing of large areas
such as ceramic tile, walls, floors and outdoor furniture.
- Light Blue Pad for aggressive scrubbing on
surfaces such as ceramic tile, porcelain, enamel tubs and sinks.
- Green Heavy Duty Pad for aggressive
scrubbing on large surfaces such as barbecue grill grates.
- Sponge Pad with Mesh Bonnet for washing and
scrubbing tough spots on automotive headlights, bumpers and grills, Not
intended for vinyl, wood or simulated wood, metalized plastic, trim, decals or
flat paint.
- Nap Lifter for raising carpet pile. Not for
use on shag, high or looped pile carpeting.
- Cleaning Solution Sample for use on
carpet.
